Sony Ericsson S312 comes in bar shaped casing which gives this handset a solid feel but S312 is an incredibly lightweight phone with just 80g in weight. It is embedded with 2 megapixel camera which gives pictures at 1600×1200 pixels. You can also click the decent quality images in dark as it comes with LED flash. The camera will also capture video, the dedicated camera key replication up for video usage.
This handset comes with capable music player with stereo widening and equalizer option. This player can play MP3 and AAC music formats. The handset comes with an onboard memory of 15MB, but there is support for memory expansion upto 4GB.The phone supports Bluetooth, USB ,HSCSD, EDGE and GPRS for connectivity. Sony Ericsson claims to provide a talktime of 8 hours and standby of 400 hours with its battery.
